Overview Randolph Senior Adults Association, Inc. seeks a dedicated and compassionate Adult Day Care Director (ADC) to oversee the operation and management of their Adult Day Care Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors. This position works closely with administrative personnel and other human service agencies to exchange information and ensure efficient and comprehensive service. Responsibilities Supervise ADC employees and verify that all activities and personnel at the center meet acceptable standards required for continued licensing as set forth by the North Carolina Department of Human Resources and the Division of Social Services. Create, update, and maintain adult program participant records; knowledge to develop, write, and implement individual training and service plans for program participants; create structured plans and schedules for daily activities while maintaining comprehensive case management, including the accurate and timely submission of reports. The ADC Director must be able to coordinate with a wide range of resources, both internal and external, to provide meaningful services and activities for assigned program participants. The ADC Director must have the ability and training to provide daily assistance to program participants according to ADC in areas such as physical care, meal preparation, feeding, medication administration, and mobility, among other activities of daily living. The ADC Director must be willing to lead, make decisions, and offer ideas and opinions. Must be a good communicator with clients, caregivers, and staff. Requirements Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Completed at least two years of college from an accredited post-secondary education institution or a high school diploma with a minimum of five years of experience and training in services to older adults with disabilities. Must possess at least two years' work experience in supervision and administration. Current CPR and First Aid Certification or be willing to get certified. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. A clean background check is required before employment.
