K-12 BEACON
Afterschool Program. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for students beyond the school day while securing the resources needed to sustain and expand programming. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the BEACON Afterschool Program, including program development, staff supervision, grant administration, budgeting, compliance, community partnerships, and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will be a skilled relationship-builder, strategic thinker, and accomplished grant writer who can connect students, schools, families, and community partners to create engaging opportunities for learning and growth. This position is primarily based in school and office settings and includes frequent interaction with students, families, staff, and community partners. Occasional evening and weekend activities are required, along with travel between district sites and attendance at regional or state meetings. This is a Monday-Thursday year-round position for up to 32 hours per week over 170 contract days. We observe all school breaks and holidays. Benefits Retirement Medical LTD Life Requirements Required Bachelor's degree. Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in education, youth development, program administration, grant management, or a related field. Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships. Preferred Master's degree. Experience writing and administering state, federal, or foundation grants. Experience supervising staff and managing budgets. Knowledge of afterschool, expanded learning, and youth development best practices.
