Job Description

UW-Stevens Point's College of Natural Resources is seeking an experienced forestry leader to serve as Director of the Wisconsin Forestry Center (WFC) and faculty member in Forestry. This full-time, 12-month tenure-track position combines strategic leadership, applied research, Extension outreach, grant development, and undergraduate teaching. 🌿
What You'll Do:
  • Lead WFC programs, personnel, budgets, facilities, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop and secure external funding for forestry research and outreach
  • Build partnerships with forestry professionals and stakeholders across Wisconsin and beyond
  • Lead innovative Extension, workforce development, and community outreach programs
  • Mentor undergraduate and graduate students
  • Teach up to 2 undergraduate courses per academic year
