We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy purchasing department. You'll work closely with the Purchasing Manager and Senior Buyers, coordinating purchase orders, supplier documentation, records, and delivery schedules while building positive relationships with vendors.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and manage documents, spreadsheets, reports, and business correspondence while following established processes and workflows. Support the Purchasing Manager and Senior Buyers with daily purchasing activities and department coordination. Manage purchase orders, scheduled delivery dates, acknowledgements, and change notices, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date. Maintain purchasing records and assist with supplier receipts, documentation, and issue resolution. Communicate courteously and effectively with internal teams and vendors, while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong working relationships.

What You'll Bring:

High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in a purchasing position. 2+ years of experience in spreadsheet computer applications.

What Sets You Apart:

Associate Degree. Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Purchase and Supply or Business Administration. In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management systems. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor relationships.
