Working alongside our Head Buyer, you will help purchase fresh flowers, negotiate pricing, coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and ensure product is available to meet customer demand. Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Strong negotiation and communication skills Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Logistics Experience a plus. Responsibilities Purchasing Purchase from domestic and international farms Assist the Head Buyer with daily purchasing decisions Negotiate pricing, availability, substitutions, and freight with vendors Develop and maintain strong relationships with farms and suppliers Monitor market conditions and availability to make informed purchasing decisions Logistics Coordinate incoming shipments with farms and cargo agencies Track shipments to ensure timely arrivals Obtain and reconcile invoices, airway bills, and shipping manifests Monitor freight costs and shipping charges Inventory & Operations Allocate inventory to sales orders Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper product rotation Walk the warehouse and coolers daily to inspect product quality Learn flower varieties, grades, origins, and seasonal availability Administrative Enter purchase orders into floral software Compile weekly sales orders Process and invoice customer orders Help create daily and weekly price lists Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
