In this vital role, you will facilitate the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and management of materials and products essential to our operations. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless supply chain processes, foster strong vendor relationships, and support inventory control initiatives. Responsibilities Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring optimal procurement outcomes. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, and AS400 to process purchase orders, track shipments, and update inventory records accurately. Manage materials management activities including inventory control, stock replenishment, and logistics coordination to maintain consistent supply levels. Support sourcing activities by identifying new vendors, evaluating supplier performance, and assisting in vendor relationship management efforts. Analyze Excel data and spreadsheets to generate reports on procurement metrics, pricing trends, and inventory status for informed decision-making. Assist in the administration of purchasing management systems by ensuring data accuracy and system support for procurement processes. Communicate effectively with vendors regarding order status, delivery issues, or product specifications while maintaining professional vendor relationships. Requirements Proven experience working with ERP systems such as

SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, Oracle EBS or similar platforms in a supply chain or purchasing environment. Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management principles. Proficiency in spreadsheets and Excel data analysis for reporting and decision support. Experience supporting purchasing management systems with a focus on vendor communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, direct negotiation procurement, and pricing strategies. Familiarity with logistics operations such as shipping schedules, freight coordination, and inventory replenishment. Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiations and internal stakeholder collaboration.
