If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in doing things right the first time, we want to hear from you. Position Overview The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing patient appointments from first contact through check-in, while ensuring that insurance eligibility and benefits are verified before the patient arrives. Scheduling and insurance verification are equally core to this role — you will be doing both every day. You will also collect patient balances at the time of service and serve as the primary point of contact for patients calling the practice. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the patient appointment schedule with accuracy and efficiency Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments Communicate insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly and confidently Collect copays and patient balances at time of service Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls across multiple phone lines Respond to patient inquiries professionally and with a sense of urgency Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure schedule flow and appointment readiness Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in practice management software Follow up on unscheduled treatment and recall appointments Support front office operations as needed Technology & Workflow We operate in a fully digital, high-efficiency environment.
