This short-term contract offers a hands-on opportunity to work directly with clinical staff, gain exposure to healthcare quality improvement processes, and support innovative medical device testing in a dynamic environment.
Contract Period:
July to October/November 2026
Work Location:
In-person at Baldwin Park Medical Center (Kaiser Permanente), starting July 30, 2026 onwards during agreed shifts. This role is 100% in person and onsite at
Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Remuneration:
$43.00 - $56.00 per hour (Adjusted for night, weekend, and federal holiday shifts) Shifts Available Weekdays 1am to 7am Weekends 9am to 6pm
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support & Device Management:
Assist hospital nursing staff with the placement, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting of Respiree's products on patients. Maintain detailed logs of medical device tests and escalate any performance anomalies.
Data & Monitoring:
Monitor collected clinical data in real-time and provide live feedback to nurses. Accurately organize, input, and perform quality checks on project data and internal systems.
Collaboration & Relationship Building:
Build strong, positive working relationships with hospital nursing staff and clinical teams to ensure seamless device integration and project success.
Administrative & Reporting Support:
Maintain accurate documentation, organize project records, help prepare internal reports or presentations, and participate in team meetings as required.
General Duties:
Handle confidential information with strict integrity and assist with other ad-hoc clinical operations duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift objects weighing 5 to 10 lbs . Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time while on shift at the hospital. Requirements & Qualifications Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Active BLS certification (or the ability to attain BLS certification as soon as possible).
Compliance:
Must successfully comply with all Kaiser Permanente employee health standards, including required immunizations and screenings. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data entry/management. Comfort working with sensitive health information and maintaining patient confidentiality. Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. Genuine interest in healthcare quality improvement, medical devices, and clinical operations.
