FULLY ONSITE Salary:

$90,000 - $110,000 Job Summary Insight Global is seeking a Scheduler to support a large federal client within the maritime and defense industry. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that support ship repair, maintenance, modernization, and new construction programs. The ideal candidate will bring experience in complex project scheduling environments and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Project, schedule analysis, and earned value management principles. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project. Support ship repair, overhaul, fabrication, maintenance, modernization, and new construction programs. Coordinate with Program Managers, Project Leads, Trade Supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather and integrate schedule updates. Conduct critical path analysis to identify schedule drivers, dependencies, constraints, and risks. Perform schedule risk assessments and what-if scenario analyses to support program planning and decision-making. Track project performance against established baselines and identify schedule variances and recovery strategies. Analyze and report Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, including Schedule Variance (SV), Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Variance at Completion (VAC). Prepare weekly and monthly program performance reports for leadership and government stakeholders. Develop forecasting models and recommend corrective actions to improve schedule performance. Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), schedule audits, and compliance reviews. Ensure schedule integrity and compliance with organizational scheduling standards and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement mitigation plans. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of scheduling or program controls experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, marine construction, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or similar project-based environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Project or other enterprise scheduling software. Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules. Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling principles, and schedule analysis. Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, project managers, and senior leadership. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). Familiarity with NAVSEA or Military Sealift Command (MSC) reporting requirements. Previous experience supporting federal, defense, or maritime programs
