Job Description

Join a Team That Makes a Difference Kremer Dental Care is looking for a friendly, confident, Scheduling Coordinator to join our Corning team. Our Scheduling Coordinator is often the first voice our patients hear and one of the first faces they see when they walk through our doors. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates with confidence and warmth, and thrives in a team-oriented dental environment. What You'll Do As our Scheduling Coordinator, you will help create an exceptional patient experience while maintaining an organized, productive schedule for our providers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming calls with professionalism, warmth, and confidence Greeting patients and creating a welcoming front-office experience Scheduling and confirming patient appointments Managing the doctor and hygiene schedules to support appropriate patient flow and daily production goals Helping patients understand their next steps and ensuring recommended treatment is scheduled Following up with patients who have unscheduled treatment, missed appointments, or canceled appointments Maintaining and utilizing short-call and cancellation lists to keep schedules full Helping fill openings created by last-minute schedule changes Communicating effectively with doctors, clinical team members, and other front-office team members Reviewing patient information and helping ensure records are complete prior to appointments Assisting patients with general insurance and scheduling questions Following established scheduling guidelines and office procedures Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times Supporting the team wherever needed to create an exceptional patient experience What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Has excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone Is friendly, professional, positive, and dependable Is confident speaking with patients and helping them schedule needed care Enjoys building relationships with patients and families Can comfortably manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Is organized and detail-oriented Works well as part of a team Takes initiative and follows through Is comfortable learning and using technology Has strong computer skills Has dental front-office or scheduling experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Has experience with Open Dental or other dental software — a plus Experience Dental or medical front-office experience: Preferred Scheduling/customer service experience: Preferred 1-2 years of related experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour , depending on experience.
