Job Description
A growing manufacturing company in Fallbrook is looking for an Accounting Operations Specialist to support the intersection of Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations.
This is a particularly good role for someone who likes reconciliations, financial data, inventory, reporting, and process improvement, but doesn't want to spend their entire day processing invoices.
Your responsibilitiesReview financial and operational data for accuracyReconcile inventory and accounting recordsAssist with month-end accounting activitiesAnalyze discrepancies between operational and financial systemsMaintain accounting-related reports and schedulesAssist with inventory valuation and adjustmentsSupport purchasing and receiving reconciliationReview transaction coding and documentationAssist with journal entries and account reconciliationsTrack operational expensesPrepare recurring management reportsWork with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepanciesSupport internal controls and documentationIdentify opportunities to improve financial workflowsAssist with audits and special accounting projects
