Contractor Position :
Please note, this will be a dedicated position servicing one of our current clients. The current contract is for 12 months; August 2026 - August 2027.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a trusted Contract Services Operations Associate to support one of our valued clients. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering consistent, compliant, and efficient vendor contracting by leveraging standardized processes, proactive problem-solving, and tailored training initiatives. The Contract Services Operations Associate will collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Legal, IT, and Finance teams to streamline contracting operations, mitigate risk, and ensure 100% compliance with company policies and contractual requirements. This position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving vendor engagement, and supporting the successful execution of the organization's contracting strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review vendor contracts SOWs and terms of service with a high level of accuracy to ensure alignment with internal standards compliance requirements and financial controls.
  • Supports full contract lifecycle management, including drafting, routing for approval, execution, amendments, renewals and repository upkeep with close attention to detail at every step.
  • Follow established contracting processes precisely while identifying gaps, inefficiencies or risks and escalating appropriately.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure all contract documentation is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
  • Support vendor onboarding by patiently collecting validating and tracking required documentation and coordinating with procurement, compliance, legal IT and finance.
  • Create and manage purchase orders when required ensuring strict alignment with approved contract terms and internal taxonomy.
  • Respond to vendor payment questions by thoroughly reviewing documentation identifying root causes and resolving issues accurately.
  • Work independently within defined guidelines demonstrating reliability consistency and strong follow through.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively providing accurate status updates and flagging risks early.
  • Communicates proactively with team members to provide contract‑related updates, analysis and operational support, flagging any issues or complications early.
Qualifications/ Desired Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors gaps and inconsistencies across contracts and documentation.
  • Patience and persistence in managing complex contract reviews approval workflows and onboarding activities.
  • Strong process driven mindset with the ability to follow structured workflows while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously without compromising quality timelines or precision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills driven by data documentation and structured processes with the ability to identify risks and recommend improvements.
  • Customer focused and professional approach with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Specific Education and Experience Requirements
  • BA degree typically required.
  • Three to four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings preferred but not required.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
