Operations Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Operations Coordinator 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Role and Responsibilities We believe the world is made better through the ethical deployment of technology. We partner with like-minded organizations and individuals in the biotech and scientific community to provide custom product solutions to solve their fluidic and microfluidic needs. This position is responsible for producing high quality flow cells, microfluidic devices, and other product solutions manufactured by the company. Shipping & Order Fulfillment Package, label, and prepare completed jobs for shipment Ship product in accordance with sales orders and shipping schedules Perform quality assurance checks on completed paperwork and batch records Populate Certificates of Conformance (COC) and shipping documentation Process completed jobs and shipment transactions through QuickBooks Coordinate freight pickups and escalate shipping issues as needed Qualifications and Education Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent college coursework preferred 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, shipping, or customer service preferred Ability to interface and operate a computer and business software systems Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, use hands/arms, and lift/move up to 50 pounds Customer Service Serve as a point of contact for customer order updates, shipping inquiries and RMA's Communicate shipment status, lead times, and order information via phone and e-mail Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and expedite orders Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation Support sales order entry and verification activities Operations Planning Assist with production scheduling and workflow coordination Monitor open orders and support on-time delivery performance Track inventory levels for shipping and packaging materials Support continuous improvement initiatives related to operations and workflow efficiency Identify and escalate scheduling conflicts or operational bottlenecks Perform other duties as required Preferred Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment "Can Do" attitude with strong teamwork skills Proficient computer and math skills, including Microsoft Office. QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred Experience in manufacturing, biotechnology, sciences, or technical industries is a plus Qualifications and Education Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent college coursework preferred 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, shipping, or customer service preferred Ability to interface and operate a computer and business software systems Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, use hands/arms, and lift/move up to 50 pounds
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour
