Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Procedure Scheduler to join our team. This vital role combines clinical support with administrative excellence, ensuring seamless patient experiences from appointment scheduling to procedure preparation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a passion for patient care.
Please note:
This position will be cross trained in both medical assisting and procedure scheduling. The selected candidate will train at our Braselton location (2334 Sparta Way, Buford, GA 30519) until our new Bethlehem office opens in November. Duties Schedule and coordinate patient procedures, appointments, and follow-ups Prepare patients by taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and explaining pre-procedure instructions clearly Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records, notes, and ICD coding for billing purposes Manage patient intake processes, verify insurance information, and ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Requirements Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a supportive and energetic environment!
