Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Imaging Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in scheduling imaging and diagnostic test for all providers. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medical office procedures and software is essential. Responsibilities Obtain pre-certification and benefits for imaging, and diagnostic tests ordered by your assigned provider. Ensure pre-certification and benefits information is properly documented within the patient record. If patient benefits show a deductible or copay, ensure collection of this payment prior to performing an in-office study. Schedule imaging and diagnostics tests for your assigned provider based on company protocol. Ensure both the patient and testing facility confirm the scheduled slot. Properly document all scheduling within the patient record and provide the patient both verbal and written details regarding their study Respond to all patient phone calls regarding questions within 24 hours. Complete non-clinical patient requests and document using patient messaging. Any request that cannot be completed, task to the proper personnel. Maintain a professional and polite phone demeanor at all times. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the Company's management team. Experience Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
