As the ERP Inventory Operations Coordinator on our Supply Chain & Operations team, you will safeguard inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and keep materials flowing smoothly from receiving dock to production floor. A day in the life Your morning might begin by reviewing inventory shortage reports and alerting Purchasing to any gaps. A truck pulls up—time to receive parts: you match packing slips to purchase orders, confirm quantities, and record receipts in the ERP. You print and distribute receiving paperwork, then pull components for machine builds using engineering-approved work tickets. Before lunch, you issue materials to work orders and stage kits so production teams can get right to work. In the afternoon, you conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and tidy storage areas for easy access. Throughout the day, you collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service—always with safety top of mind. You also contribute ideas to improve our ERP workflows and inventory processes. Core responsibilities Receive and process incoming inventory shipments from vendors. Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Enter goods receipts into the ERP and distribute required documentation. Pull parts for machine builds using engineering-approved work tickets. Issue materials to work orders; ensure accurate, timely inventory transactions. Run shortage reports and communicate gaps to Purchasing. Stage materials and work orders for production teams. Monitor stock levels and help maintain minimum quantities. Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Keep inventory locations and storage areas organized. Partner closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to ensure material availability. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Support ERP improvements and inventory process enhancements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or inventory management certification preferred. 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Ability to read and understand BOMs, work orders, and inventory reports. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods when needed. Preferred skills Background in manufacturing or industrial equipment. Knowledge of inventory control best practices. Hands-on experience with cycle counts and physical inventories. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
