Starting pay is based on experience Help Keep Our Customers and Service Team Moving Ameripak Inc. is seeking an organized and resourceful professional to support our service and parts operations. This position plays an important role in coordinating service activity, locating replacement parts, working with suppliers, managing purchase orders, scheduling technicians, and keeping customers informed. You will communicate with customers, field technicians, vendors, and other members of our internal team. Your job will be to gather the right information, identify what is needed, and help move each parts request or service job from the initial call through completion. Some replacement parts are readily available. Others require careful research, manufacturer identification, component cross-referencing, alternate supplier searches, or creative solutions for discontinued and difficult-to-find items. Since 1986, we have helped manufacturers and industrial businesses with packaging equipment, replacement parts, packaging supplies, field service, and related solutions. Primary Responsibilities In this position, you will: Receive and respond to customer service and replacement-parts requests Research, identify, and source machine parts and components Request supplier quotes and compare pricing, availability, and lead times Create and submit purchase orders Monitor open orders, backorders, and incoming shipments Research alternatives for obsolete or hard-to-locate components Maintain accurate supplier, purchasing, and parts information Arrange parts shipments to customers, technicians, and job locations Schedule field-service technicians Coordinate technician travel when necessary Monitor service jobs from the original request through completion Provide customers with updates about parts, scheduling, and job progress Prepare work orders and supporting job information for technicians Organize service records and completed technician documentation Communicate with sales, operations, and accounting as needed What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Highly organized and attentive to detail Resourceful when researching parts, manufacturers, and suppliers Dependable and committed to following tasks through to completion Capable of managing multiple requests and priorities Professional and confident when communicating with customers and vendors Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, online research tools, and business software Interested in learning about our equipment, manufacturers, parts, and service procedures Experience in any of the following areas would be helpful: Parts research or sourcing Purchasing or procurement Maintenance, repair, and operations, or MRO Field-service coordination Dispatching or scheduling Logistics Customer service Industrial operations Knowledge of mechanical systems or industrial equipment is a plus, but it is not required.
