Company Overview Early Intervention & Consultation Services, LLC (EICS) is a dedicated Therapy clinic committed to supporting children from birth to 21 years of age. Our mission is to help children and families reach their full potential through innovative therapy, education, and training programs designed to promote growth and development. Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in coordinating appointments, managing client schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between families and staff. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare environment while utilizing strong administrative and technical skills in a remote setting. Duties Schedule client appointments efficiently across multiple therapy disciplines, including occupational, speech, physical therapy, and behavioral health services. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Ensora/Fusion to update client information accurately. Verify insurance coverage, including Medicaid and health insurance policies, ensuring proper authorization prior to appointments. Review medical documentation for completeness and accuracy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize scheduling workflows and reduce appointment conflicts or delays. Provide exceptional customer service via phone communication, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear documentation review. Utilize Google Docs and Microsoft Office tools for reporting, data entry, and communication purposes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience Previous experience in medical scheduling within a healthcare setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Knowledge of medical billing processes, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and insurance verification procedures. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. Experience working with pediatric or clinical populations is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Bilingual abilities are a plus to support diverse patient populations. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
