Household Goods provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to 3,000 families in need each year. We are looking for a hardworking, adaptable, and mission-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills who is physically capable of handling tasks that involve lifting and moving furniture and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This position works Tuesday - Saturday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Specific Responsibilities:

Inventory Management Physically move and organize furniture and other household items as directed Maintenance and Safety Clean and stock volunteer areas daily Participate in snow removal around trailers, trucks, entryways, and stairs to ensure safe access for volunteers and staff Report any safety concerns or maintenance needs Truck Driver Participate in residential and commercial donation pickups as needed General Support Complete additional tasks as assigned to support organizational goals and initiatives

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of and commitment to the mission and culture of Household Goods Must be willing and meet requirements to drive Household Goods vehicles - Age 21 or over with clean license for three years Able to lift, push, and pull over 50 pounds regularly Able to stand, walk and be mobile for up to an eight-hour shift Strong communication and teamwork skills Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
