Job Description
Job Summary:
The Home Health Care Office Administrator & Staff Scheduler is responsible for managing daily office operations while coordinating caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care. This role serves as the central point of communication between clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient staffing, regulatory compliance, and smooth administrative workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow Maintain accurate client and employee records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, families, and staff Assist with billing, payroll processing, and insurance verification Support hiring processes, onboarding, and training of new staff Ensure compliance with state and federal home health care regulations Manage office supplies and administrative resources Office experience is a must. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Staff Scheduling:
Create and maintain caregiver schedules based on client needs, availability, and skill level Coordinate shift coverage, including last-minute call-outs and schedule changes Match caregivers with clients to ensure continuity of care Communicate schedules clearly to staff and update systems in real time Monitor overtime, attendance, and staffing levels to maintain efficiency Ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care requirements at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred Previous experience in home health care, scheduling, or administrative roles preferred Knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical terminology Experience with scheduling software Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
