Job Description

Labsphere is seeking a highly organized and proactive OEM Production Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of our OEM manufacturing operations in North Sutton, New Hampshire. This role is responsible for coordinating the flow of customer orders through production and supporting logistics and shipping activities to help ensure products are manufactured and delivered accurately and on time. The OEM Production Coordinator works closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Inventory, and Shipping teams to maintain visibility of production priorities, material availability, order status, and customer delivery commitments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes ownership of keeping production and shipments moving. Key Responsibilities Production Coordination
  • Coordinate daily OEM production activities and priorities to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor customer orders and work-in-process from production release through completion.
  • Communicate production priorities, schedule changes, and customer requirements across the production team.
  • Track production progress and proactively identify material shortages, capacity constraints, or other risks to on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory teams to ensure materials and components are available to support production.
  • Maintain accurate production tracking information and support reporting on order status, production output, and schedule attainment.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on production status, material availability, and open issues.
  • Update ERP systems and maintain system accuracy. Logistics & Shipping Coordination
  • Coordinate the preparation and shipment of completed OEM products to meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Maintain visibility of upcoming shipment requirements and ensure products are staged, packaged, documented, and ready for shipment.
  • Coordinate with Production and Quality to ensure all manufacturing and inspection requirements are completed prior to shipment.
  • Prepare and verify required shipping documentation and ensure accurate system transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal shipping resources and external carriers, including expedited shipments when required.
  • Track outbound shipments and assist in resolving delivery delays, shipping discrepancies, and carrier-related issues.
  • Support accurate inventory transactions and organized finished-goods and shipping staging areas. Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as a key communication link between OEM Production and supporting functions, including Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Inventory, and Shipping.
  • Proactively communicate risks that may affect production schedules or customer delivery commitments.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve production flow, material availability, shipping processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining standard work and documented processes related to production coordination and logistics.
  • Support the OEM Production Manager with production reporting, data collection, and operational projects as needed. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional education in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in production coordination, manufacturing operations, logistics, shipping, inventory control, or a related role preferred.
  • Experience in an OEM, manufacturing, assembly, or technical production environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, and Shipping functions.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues, follow up on open actions, and drive activities to completion.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing production and customer priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, inventory management, shipping, or production tracking systems preferred. Key Competencies

Success in this role means maintaining clear visibility of customer orders throughout the production process, proactively identifying and addressing material and scheduling constraints, and coordinating completed products through final inspection and shipment.
