We are a custom fabrication company specializing in trade show exhibits and branded environments. We're looking for an experienced, organized Production Coordinator to support our shop with project details, purchasing, and day-to-day production coordination. This position is a good fit for someone who understands how things get built, is comfortable reading plans, and enjoys keeping materials, information, and deadlines organized. You'll work closely with our shop, design, and project teams in a support and coordination role, without direct staff management responsibilities. Responsibilities Read and review drawings, dimensions, and specifications to help identify missing information and clarify production details. Assist with coordinating plans, revisions, and project information between the design and shop teams. Source wood, hardware, finishes, and other materials; request quotes, compare options, and place orders. Track purchases and deliveries to ensure materials arrive when needed. Maintain organized project files, material lists, purchasing records, and task updates. Follow up on outstanding items and communicate potential delays or issues. Support the shop with practical problem-solving and daily production needs. Qualifications Previous experience in production coordination, purchasing, project support, or a related role within a fabrication or construction environment. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and measurements. Practical knowledge of wood, sheet materials, hardware, and common fabrication methods. Familiarity with design and detailing, with the ability to recognize when clarification is needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through. Comfortable communicating with vendors, designers, and shop personnel. Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic project tracking tools. Preferred Experience Trade show exhibit fabrication or exhibit house experience. Background in millwork, cabinetry, architectural fabrication, custom displays, or construction. Familiarity with CAD or other drafting software. We're looking for someone who brings practical experience, takes initiative, and enjoys helping a team turn plans into finished projects. To apply, submit your résumé and a brief description of your relevant production, fabrication, or project coordination experience.
