Schedule:
8-hour shifts, 7:00a - 3:00p, weekend rotation required as needed SUMMARY The Scheduling & Road Tech Specialist prepares requisitions and other documents necessary for the Homebound Services technicians, maintains patient information, standing orders, and Nursing Home requests, and performs phlebotomy at Nursing Homes and patients' private homes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with Phlebotomy/Road Technician responsibilities as needed and act as coverage Road Technician. Receive unscheduled absence calls from Road Technicians and revise the daily schedules as needed. Prepare, post and distribute Road Technicians' on-call schedules. Prepare requisitions and other documents necessary for the Homebound Services technicians to perform their duties. Perform file maintenance on all systems including Excel, Word, LIS (Laboratory Information System), and Access programs. Address all phone calls promptly and professionally. Maintain patient information, standing orders, and Nursing Home requests. Accurately records essential information to provide the proper documentation for the customers' requirements. Ensure all client requests are delegated to the correct personnel within the timeframe needed or required. File and archive all patient records in accordance with Quality Assurance guidelines in order to retrieve documents for audits. Work with both the Scheduling Specialist and Homebound Services Supervisor to ensure all departmental goals are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid New York State Driver's License required Phlebotomy experience required Excellent communication and computer skills required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Phlebotomy Certification preferred High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred 1-3 years scheduling experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.

$20.50 - $25.50

14617 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
