Capital Distribution Corp. is a growing footwear, apparel and e-commerce company based in Oceanside, NY. We sell through livestream shopping and multiple major online marketplaces. We are looking for a dependable, organized person to join our team and take ownership of daily customer support, returns and e-commerce follow-up. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in e-commerce, fashion, sneakers or online retail who wants to learn how a fast-moving online business operates behind the scenes. What You'll Do Your main responsibility will be making sure customer issues, returns and order-related problems are handled and tracked from start to finish. You will also help the e-commerce team with additional projects throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

Responding to customer messages and order questions Tracking open issues and following up until they are resolved Managing returns, refunds and exchanges Inspecting returned items and updating records Researching shipping, sizing, condition and order concerns Working with fulfillment and inventory teams to solve problems Helping review and update online product listings Checking product images, titles, sizes, SKUs and descriptions Assisting with product photography and image organization Performing small inventory checks and physical audits Updating spreadsheets and internal trackers Helping with other e-commerce projects as needed Most customer communication is handled through online marketplace messages. This is not a phone-based call-center position. Once the daily customer-support work is complete, you will assist with listings, product images, inventory checks and other projects that help the business grow. Schedule This is an in-person position at our Oceanside warehouse.

Applicants must be available:

Monday through Friday At least 25 hours per week Approximately five or more hours per day The exact schedule can be somewhat flexible, but consistent weekday availability is required. Additional hours may become available based on performance and business needs. Who We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you are: Organized and good at following up Comfortable communicating professionally with customers Able to manage several open issues at once Detail-oriented with orders, sizes, SKUs and inventory Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets and online platforms Able to work independently after training Comfortable with both desk work and hands-on warehouse tasks Dependable and interested in a long-term position Interested in e-commerce, fashion, sneakers or online retail Experience Experience in customer service, e-commerce, returns, inventory or online marketplaces is preferred, but not required. Experience with any of the following is a plus: eBay Shopify Amazon StockX or GOAT Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel Product listings or photography Footwear, apparel, streetwear or luxury products We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, intelligent and eager to learn.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
