Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Coordinator to join our team! This vital role oversees the production floor by balancing supply chain needs and product standards. Your proactive approach manages raw material purchasing, build supplier relationships, and facilitate communication across departments regarding material issues. Responsibilities Oversee vendor relationships, including contract management, and service quality monitoring. Source and order raw materials, components, and supplies based on production forecasts and inventory levels. Review Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements and coordinate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and reliable lead times. Track purchase orders in the ERP system, and resolve shipping or delivery discrepancies. Inspect incoming raw materials to verify they meet strict manufacturing specifications before they reach the production floor. Conduct routine quality audits during and after the production process to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Document non-conformances, coordinate root-cause investigations, and help implement corrective actions and discuss with suppliers. Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, procurement, or quality control. High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), spreadsheets, manufacturing ERP software and inventory management systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with professional phone etiquette and client interaction experience. Attention to detail for conducting physical quality inspections. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
