Production Scheduler

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet sales and customer production goals. The Production Scheduler will report to the Business Manager.
Accountabilities:
Enter intercompany orders for tolling and services. Create and maintain in-bound and out-bound bulk schedule for tolling services. Receive purchase orders from external location for tolling. Print daily load sheets for tank wagon orders to customers. Enter daily test sample results in OES. Attend daily production meetings. Attend weekly corporate planning meetings. Works closely with team members. Works closely with corporate customer service representatives. Track and reconcile daily inventory. Analyze the bulk liquid daily tank sheet. Daily review of open order report / open orders. Maintain production records, reports and supporting documentation. Conduct inventory adjustments for material received via railcar in JD Edwards. Conduct month-end inventory counts for internal and external locations in JD Edwards. Conduct year-end inventory count with outside auditor. Perform an annual mock/traceability recall drill. Ability to follow work instructions and procedures. Creative situational assessments to develop a solution. All other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience :
Proven experience in scheduling and inventory management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory control. Familiarity with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or similar is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
