MAINTENANCE PLANNER
Pageland, South Carolina

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and organized maintenance professional to unlock your ambition and work the future at Aalberts. As the Maintenance Planner , you will plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support manufacturing productivity. You will use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop maintenance schedules, generate and manage work orders, coordinate required parts and resources, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support root-cause problem solving.

YOUR CHALLENGE
As the Maintenance Planner, you will: Develop and maintain preventive and planned maintenance schedules to support equipment reliability and production requirements. Create, schedule, and manage maintenance work orders through the CMMS. Coordinate the availability of required parts, materials, tools, equipment, and personnel before scheduled maintenance work begins. Use CMMS data, equipment history, and maintenance trends to identify needs and improve maintenance planning. Partner closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize production disruption. Maintain accurate work histories, maintenance plans, equipment records, and supporting documentation. Participate in root-cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities to address recurring equipment issues and improve reliability. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, planning effectiveness, equipment uptime, and overall productivity. Prioritize multiple maintenance needs and adjust schedules based on production requirements, equipment conditions, and business priorities. Ensure maintenance planning and activities support applicable safety requirements, procedures, and company standards. Promote safe work practices, identify and report hazards, and support required safety training and proper PPE use.
WHAT YOU BRING
High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment. Previous maintenance planning experience preferred. Previous maintenance leadership experience is a plus. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and preventive maintenance processes. Experience using a CMMS or similar maintenance planning and work-order system. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical information related to maintenance work. Ability to accurately use applicable precision measuring instruments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisions. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across Maintenance, Operations, and other departments. Strong computer skills and ability to use software for planning, scheduling, reporting, and recordkeeping. High attention to detail with the ability to identify and escalate issues when appropriate. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require the ability to: Stand for extended periods. Work with arms extended above shoulder level. Climb ladders and work at varying heights. Frequently push, pull, bend, and reach. Lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Pay:
$27.68 - $31.86 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
