Packaging Manager/Operations Manager Position Summary The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules that maximize efficiency while meeting customer demand, inventory targets, and shipping deadlines. This role works closely with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Quality, Micro and Customer Service to ensure materials, labor, and equipment are aligned for successful execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to adjust quickly as priorities change.

Shift:

Primarily Day Shift - availability required for overtime, some holidays and weekends

Starting Pay:

$26.30 - $28.75 per hour D.O.E.

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules.
• Balance customer orders, inventory levels, production capacity, and labor availability.
• Monitor/Maintain inventory levels to ensure raw and dry materials are available before production.
• Monitor schedule adherence and make real time adjustments due to equipment downtime, labor shortages, or changing customer priorities.
• Communicate schedule changes to production supervisors, warehouse personnel, and other affected departments.
• Track inventory levels to minimize shortages, excess inventory, and product aging.
• Work with warehouse and logistics team to ensure that products are available for shipment.
• Review production performance and recommend scheduling improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Participate in meetings as needed to communicate scheduling priorities.
• Maintain accurate production planning data.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve scheduling accuracy and operational performance. Required Qualifications
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, inventory control/oversight, or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Business, Operations, or related field.
• Experience in food manufacturing/production or other similar high-volume environments. Knowledge & Skills
