Anyone can update a schedule. Not everyone can build a turnaround schedule that survives reality. If you've planned mechanical turnarounds, know your way around P6, and understand what happens when field execution doesn't match the plan, this is the kind of role where your experience actually matters. What you'll be doing You'll lead the development of a brand-new turnaround schedule in P6 for a refinery turnaround, building the logic from the ground up instead of maintaining someone else's work. You'll work closely with planners, contractors, and turnaround leadership to create a schedule that supports safe, efficient execution. Build and optimize detailed, resource-loaded turnaround schedules in Primavera P6. Develop shutdown and startup logic for complex mechanical work. Review field planning packages and validate schedule quality. Lead schedule reviews with planners, contractors, and turnaround leadership. Forecast progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend practical solutions. Prepare shift reports and three-day look-ahead schedules during execution. Support schedule updates and change management throughout the turnaround lifecycle. What you get This onsite opportunity in Superior, Wisconsin offers $75-85/hour , a one-year contract with extension potential , and $178/day per diem for qualified non-local candidates. You'll work a 40-hour schedule during planning, with extended hours during turnaround execution. Most importantly, you'll help build the schedule from the beginning instead of inheriting one that's already in motion. Who you are You're a turnaround scheduler - not a capital project scheduler. You've spent years building and executing refinery, oil & gas, LNG, or chemical plant turnaround schedules and understand the mechanical work behind them. You're fluent in Primavera P6, comfortable challenging assumptions, and respected because your schedules reflect how work actually gets done in the field. Want to hear more?
