Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records. Basic computer and data entry skills required. Experience Requirements Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, shipping and receiving, or material handling preferred. Experience using inventory management systems or warehouse software is a plus. Forklift experience or certification preferred. Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits beneficial. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to identify discrepancies, damaged materials, and shipment issues. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform warehouse duties throughout the shift. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts when required. Comfortable working in warehouse and distribution environments. Job Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation. Unload, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining accurate inventory records. Enter receiving and inventory data into warehouse management and inventory control systems. Identify, document, and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments to ensure timely resolution. Maintain organized records of received goods, inventory transactions, and warehouse activities. Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation efforts to maintain inventory accuracy. Coordinate with warehouse personnel, purchasing teams, and management to ensure efficient material flow and inventory control. Follow all company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
