This position is responsible for pulling customer orders, carefully packaging comic books, preparing shipments, and helping maintain accurate and organized inventory.

Position Summary The Shipping & Inventory Associate is responsible for accurately pulling comic books for customer orders, verifying that each order is complete, securely packaging orders, and preparing them for shipment. This position also supports inventory organization, put-away, order accuracy, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, dependable, and able to maintain accuracy while processing a high volume of orders. This is an active position that requires prolonged standing and walking, repetitive movements, and regularly lifting and moving boxes. Responsibilities Pull comic books from inventory locations based on customer orders. Verify that the correct items have been pulled for each order. Scan books and orders using the company's inventory and shipping systems. Carefully package comic books to prevent damage during shipment. Select the appropriate mailers, boxes, and packing materials for each order. Print and apply shipping labels and packing slips. Prepare completed packages for carrier pickup. Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrectly located inventory. Put inventory away in the correct warehouse locations. Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation. Maintain accurate inventory and order records. Keep shipping stations, supplies, and inventory areas clean and organized. Monitor shipping supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered. Meet daily productivity and accuracy expectations. Follow all established shipping, inventory, and safety procedures. Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as needed. Qualifications Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable using computers, scanners, and shipping software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely handle fragile and collectible comic books. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Comfortable performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the workday. Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout warehouse shelving areas. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Previous shipping, fulfillment, inventory, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Comic book or pop-culture knowledge is a plus but not required.
