POSITION OVERVIEW

Toscana Country Club is seeking a part-time Shipping & Receiving Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Assists the Administrative Staff with clerical duties by performing the following: Collaborate with

Coordinator:

Work in tandem with the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to ensure efficient and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Verify Accuracy:

Carefully check incoming deliveries against accompanying paperwork to ensure all items are accounted for and accurate.

Organized Storage:

Efficiently put away received products, generally following a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system to maintain optimal inventory rotation.

Package Delivery:

Distribute UPS and FedEx packages to the correct departments. This may involve operating a golf cart for timely deliveries across our facility.

Physical Handling:

Safely lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

Equipment Operation:

Skillfully operate manual and automatic pallet jacks, hand trucks and dollies to move and organize materials. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified candidate must have excellent administrative, communication and grammatical skills. Qualified candidates must be able to maintain professionalism, be detail-oriented, perform multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accountability. Education and/or Experience Customer service:

1 year (Preferred) Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment is a plus.

• Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Publisher)
• Basic understanding of website navigation
• Proficient in using office equipment including printer, copier, mail/fax machine, etc.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math
