$30.00 - $34.00 per hour

6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 4/10-hour workdays If You Know How to Move It, We Know How to Pay You The Shipping and Receiving Purchasing Associate oversees purchasing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics functions to support manufacturing operations. This role works closely with suppliers, production teams, and warehouse personnel to maintain inventory accuracy, ensure material availability, and support efficient supply chain performance. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial. Experience Requirements 5+ years of purchasing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, or supply chain experience. Experience with MRP and MRO supply chain planning. Proficiency with ERP systems (Great Plains experience is a plus). Intermediate math and computer skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Job Duties Oversee purchasing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. Process daily shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. Manage purchase orders, vendor relationships, and delivery schedules. Coordinate domestic and international shipments to support production needs. Maintain inventory accuracy and material availability for manufacturing. Investigate supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions. Monitor packaging supplies and assist with packaging improvements. Operate warehouse equipment and support shipping/receiving teams as needed. Follow company safety procedures and production schedules. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, or inventory software is preferred. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is beneficial. Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or order fulfillment is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Shipping and Receiving Purchasing Associate. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely load, unload, and organize products in a warehouse environment. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and production conditions as required.
