We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our warehouse and distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining inventory of shipping supplies, and ensuring products are shipped accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing items against invoices, bills of lading, orders, and other records. Prepare, package, label, and ship products according to company procedures. Determine appropriate shipping methods, routes, and rates. Assemble containers and pack products using proper protective materials. Process shipping documentation, postage, and shipping charges. Inspect incoming shipments, document shortages or damages, and coordinate resolutions with carriers. Route materials and products to the appropriate departments. Review outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operate material-handling equipment, including hand trucks and lift equipment, as needed. Assist with returned, damaged, or defective merchandise. Support team members and other departments as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required Computer skills required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be capable of running a forklift, will provide training Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to perform the physical activities reasonably associated with the essential functions of the role, with accommodations available as appropriate. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
