In this energetic position, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with precision and efficiency. Your proactive approach will help maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, safety, and quality control, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack orders using barcode scanners, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and completeness. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments using appropriate safety protocols while handling materials with manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Maintain organized inventory levels by stocking shelves accurately and conducting regular stock checks to support inventory management systems. Ensure all shipping and receiving activities comply with safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform quality control checks on products before packing to ensure order accuracy and product integrity. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety protocols. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, barcode scanning for logistics, and RF scanners. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safety guidelines. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in order picking, packing, and stock management. Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing shipments efficiently. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, quality control standards, and warehouse operations best practices. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or distribution centers is a plus; strong communication skills are essential for team collaboration.
