Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be an essential part of the Logistics Department supporting operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

first shift What's the Job? Provide courteous service while assisting drivers, vendors, and visitors both in person and over the phone. Process trucks to be loaded, including confirming pickup numbers, routing, Oracle entries, and printing/processing BOLs. Ensure accurate entry of carrier information into the system and follow work order instructions such as faxing COAs and BOLs, recording seals, etc. Prepare late shipment reports and other operational reports like open orders and tons shipped. Maintain safety compliance by ensuring contractors and visitors are properly trained and up-to-date on required safety certifications. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent (credential requirements: 100039, 100100). Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies diligently. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proactive attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency. Willingness to support team members and adapt to shift changes as needed. What's in it for me?
