Job Description

Job Title:
Shipper/Receiver Job Description This Shipper/Receiver role is based in Biddeford and focuses on handling a full range of shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities. You will manage domestic shipments, support international shipping processes, maintain accurate inventory records, and perform general labor tasks as needed, while communicating regularly with external vendors and using warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform general shipping and receiving duties for domestic shipments and support international shipping processes. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products against documentation. Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures and carrier requirements. Handle material movement within the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and staging products. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control activities. Communicate regularly and professionally with external vendors regarding shipments, deliveries, and inventory needs. Use computers and related software to enter shipping and receiving data and update inventory systems. Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively to move, store, and organize materials. Support general warehouse and labor duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations. Follow all safety guidelines, warehouse procedures, and quality standards. Essential Skills Proven experience with domestic shipping processes. Experience with international shipping is preferred. Strong computer skills for data entry, documentation, and inventory tracking. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external vendors. Experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment. Experience with inventory handling and material handling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in shipping and receiving, inventory, and material handling. Comfort working in a busy warehouse setting with multiple team members. Attention to detail when handling documentation, labeling, and inventory records. Reliability and willingness to perform general labor and warehouse duties as needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a large, open warehouse with bright, natural light and approximately 80 employees on site. You will work around standard warehouse equipment and materials in an active, team-oriented setting. Appropriate footwear and warehouse-appropriate shoes are required to ensure safety and comfort while performing daily tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, ME. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
