Responsibilities:

Prepare finished cabinetry and components for delivery by inspecting, labeling, wrapping, and staging items to protect them during transport. Assist with sanding parts on the wide belt sander and perform general shop tasks as needed, including moving materials, keeping work areas organized, and supporting other production departments. Follow shop procedures and safety practices while maintaining a high standard of care for finished work.

Delivery Driving:

Safely operate company vehicles for the timely delivery of high-end furniture to clients. Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients during deliveries. Load and unload furniture items with precision and care.

Schedule and Coordination:

Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate delivery schedules. Collaborate with the logistics team to plan efficient delivery routes.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic regulations. Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card in accordance with Michigan state regulations.

Requirements:

Must be open to working flexible hours. Generally 6a-2:30pm Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture, up to 70 pounds or more. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to obtain a DOT medical card in the state of Michigan. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in packaging or delivery, especially with high-end furniture, is a plus.

Compensation:
