West Branch Napa, Auto, Truck and Trailer, a family-owned local business, is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Automotive Sales & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position combines counter sales, customer service, receiving, inventory support, and day-to-day store operations. The right candidate will take pride in helping customers find the correct parts, maintaining accurate inventory, and keeping the store and receiving areas organized and productive. We offer competitive pay based on experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service at the counter, over the phone, and throughout the store. Help retail and commercial customers identify the correct automotive, truck, trailer, fleet, and heavy-duty parts. Support sales by recommending appropriate products and solutions while creating a positive customer experience. Receive incoming merchandise; verify quantities and invoices; process credits; and accurately document receiving activity. Maintain receiving records and logs for internal tracking, reconciliation, and inventory audits. Stock, pick, pack, ship, and organize products while ensuring freight is moved to the correct warehouse, stockroom, or sales-floor location. Assist with inventory counts, stock accuracy, product placement, customer orders, and general store organization. Learn product lines, part locations, store systems, and customer needs to become a trusted resource for both retail and commercial customers. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and follow company procedures for receiving, security, PPE, and daily operations. Assist with other warehouse, facility, delivery, and store duties as business needs require.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A willingness to learn and grow product knowledge and responsibility. Automotive, truck, trailer, heavy-duty parts, sales, receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with related experience and the right attitude.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License. Ability to pass required pre-employment screening. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 110 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the workday. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn point-of-sale, inventory and parts-lookup systems.
