Job Description
4th Axis Machine and Design is a precision machine shop in Albertville serving the energy, power sports and aerospace industries with critical components. We are interested in a qualified individual to perform a multitude of tasks to support in the office doing a variety of computer work in addition to helping with shipping in our machine shop. This job involves being on the shop floor for part or most of the day at times. Duties include but not limited to: Compiling data packets Using own vehicle to drop off and pick up parts from vendor. You would be paid your hourly wage plus standard IRS mileage rate Washing and wrapping parts for shipment to customers Scanning and filing of paperwork Receiving material
Shift:
- Full time / 1st shift - Monday to Friday Successful Candidate Skills /
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended period of time
- Must have excellent work ethic and ability to work with others as a team
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
- Self-motivated
- A background in manufacturing or a basic knowledge of how a job traveler is used or knowledge of a job scheduling software like E2, JobBOSS, Vantage would be a big plus
- Willing to do a variety of tasks each week depending on the workload
- Detail orientated
