Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Warehouse Parts Inspector to join our manufacturing and logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of parts stored and dispatched from the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with precision measurement tools. As a Warehouse Parts Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining product integrity, supporting regulatory compliance, and upholding the company's commitment to excellence in quality assurance. Responsibilities Conduct detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and more. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing material transfers. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers. Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Operate hand drill to fasten lids on wooden crates and binds containers with metal strap, using strapping equipment. Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with purchasing agent to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. May operate forklift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area. Maintains good housekeeping and follows

protocols.Work Environment :
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Must be able to climb stairs (portable ladders).
- Manufacturing Warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate with shipping experience, preferably.
- Shows initiative and works well with others.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
