A growing company is seeking Shipping Assistant to join its team in New York City. The primary responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Contact customers to confirm delivery schedule via phone, text or email. Add notes on packing list for COD customers after verifying with credit department. Generate UPS labels and prepare packages for UPS driver to pick up. Review delivery schedule in system, generate Bill of Lading, Packing Lists and verify loading status with Shipping Helpers, Drivers and warehouse Loaders accordingly. Collect packing lists from Drivers after their routes are completed and scan packing lists into scan folder. Verify delivery status with Drivers when customers contact the Company. Assist Sales and ISR departments and customers to adjust the quantity of products for delivery. Collect truck record daily including total miles driven, states and gas stations which vehicles were driven to in order to file quarterly

HUT/IFTA.

Data entry. Assist warehouse and shipping departments to locate windows and load products into trucks if needed. Assist department to conduct quarterly and annual inventory cycle count. Other duties may be assigned Qualifications include: Associate degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Good customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to perform in fast-paced environments Bilingual preferred

Salary:
