Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Records Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate records, ensuring seamless documentation flow across various departments. Your proactive approach will support efficient warehouse operations, shipping logistics, inventory management, and compliance with international trade regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where accuracy and customer service excellence are paramount. Responsibilities Accurately input and update data using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and inventory management software to ensure real-time record accuracy. Manage shipping logistics, including processing shipping & receiving documentation, coordinating order fulfillment, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Support warehouse distribution activities by assisting with stock stocking, order picking & packing, and load & unload operations using RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts. Maintain meticulous records of inventory levels, stock movements, and trade compliance documentation in accordance with international trade regulations. Collaborate with warehouse staff to verify inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly. Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal inquiries related to order status, shipment details, or inventory concerns. Ensure compliance with safety standards during warehouse operations while supporting logistics processes such as shipping & receiving and order processing. Qualifications Proven experience working in warehouse operations or inventory management environments; familiarity with warehouse distribution is highly desirable. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400 or MRPs, and Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory quantities. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklift trucks safely; certification preferred. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation. Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service mindset to assist team members and external partners effectively. Knowledge of shipping logistics procedures, order fulfillment processes, packaging standards, and trade compliance regulations related to international trade.
