Job Description

Job Title:
Warehouse Receiving Clerk Department:
Warehouse Reports to : Warehouse Manager General Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to manage incoming materials at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the critical first step in our supply chain, ensuring all inbound shipments are thoroughly inspected, verified against regulatory documentation, and accurately logged into our system. The ideal candidate will maintain strict current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) compliance while safely executing physical unloading and materials for sampling.
Essential Duties Truck Inspections:
Conduct and document structural, temperature, cleanliness, and security checks on delivery trailers prior to offloading.
Unloading Operations:
Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to unload inbound freight.
Documentation Verification:
Cross-reference and verify physical packing lists against Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Bills of Lading (BOL).
ERP System Administration:
Utilize inventory software to generate unique material lot numbers for all accepted shipments.
Receiving Logs:
Maintain an accurate, real-time digital receiving log of all incoming materials, quantities, and carrier details.
QA Sampling Support:
Identify, isolate, and pull designated material quantities for Quality Assurance sampling following cleanroom protocols.
Discrepancy Reporting:
Identify and halt the receipt of damaged, shorted, or document-deficient shipments.
Cross-Functional Communication:
Immediately escalate material issues to Purchasing or Quality Assurance (QA).
Customer Material Management:
Contact external clients to resolve documentation errors regarding customer-supplied raw materials.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Physical Ability:
Ability to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs throughout the duration of the shift. Attention to

Exceptional accuracy in identifying alphanumeric data matches between physical labels and shipping documents. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage a multiple tasks Efficiently solves problems
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Experience:
1-2 years of warehouse receiving experience, preferably within a regulated cGMP manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift or equipment operation
Pay:
From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
