Position Purpose The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the El Mirage warehouse. This position leads warehouse employees and oversees receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, delivery coordination, inventory handling, and warehouse equipment. The Warehouse Manager works closely with the General Manager, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Parts, Service, Sales, Manufacturing, and Transportation to keep materials moving and customer commitments on schedule. Responsibilities Lead Safety Make safety the first priority in daily planning, staffing, material movement, and warehouse decisions. Model and enforce Goodfellow safety requirements, including forklift operation, load handling, personal protective equipment, housekeeping, and pedestrian safety. Conduct daily safety discussions and correct unsafe conditions or behavior promptly. Ensure employees receive required training and are authorized to operate assigned equipment. Partner with the General Manager and Safety team on inspections, incident reporting, corrective actions, and emergency procedures. Lead the Warehouse Team Set clear expectations and provide daily direction for warehouse employees. Plan staffing and schedules to support receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery requirements. Hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate employees. Address performance or attendance concerns promptly and consistently. Hold regular team meetings to review priorities, safety concerns, workload, and service commitments. Build an accountable, solutions-focused culture where employees communicate early and follow through. Manage Warehouse Operations Oversee receiving, inspection, labeling, put-away, storage, picking, staging, packing, shipping, and customer pickup. Establish clear workflows and storage standards that support safe movement, accurate transactions, and efficient use of space. Prioritize emergency, machine-down, will-call, branch-transfer, production, and service orders based on business needs. Coordinate outbound deliveries and confirm that orders are complete, documented, secured, and ready on time. Maintain an orderly warehouse, yard, dock, parts-storage areas, and customer pickup area. Protect Inventory Accuracy Work closely with the Inventory Control Manager and Purchasing team to maintain accurate on-hand balances and item locations. Complete scheduled cycle counts and physical inventories. Research discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective action. Ensure employees complete receiving, transfers, picks, returns, adjustments, and other system transactions accurately and on time. Monitor damaged, missing, unidentified, excess, and obsolete material and escalate issues for resolution. Maintain secure storage and access controls for inventory, tools, supplies, and high-value items. Maintain Equipment and Facilities Coordinate inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs for forklifts, vehicles, dock equipment, racking, tools, and other warehouse assets. Remove unsafe equipment from service and report facility or equipment concerns promptly. Maintain required inspection records and confirm that warehouse equipment is ready for safe use. Improve Service and Performance Use the company ERP system and operational reports to monitor workload, accuracy, delays, and recurring problems. Track warehouse performance and communicate risks, staffing needs, and improvement opportunities to the General Manager. Standardize work, reduce handling and rework, and improve the flow of materials through the warehouse. Respond professionally to internal and external customers and resolve fulfillment or delivery issues quickly. Measures of Success

Goodfellow Corporation | Warehouse Manager Updated 09/09/2026 Qualifications Three to five years of progressive warehouse experience, including responsibility for shipping, receiving, inventory, and employee supervision. Demonstrated ability to lead employees, organize daily work, and improve warehouse processes and safety performance. Working knowledge of inventory control, cycle counts, material handling, order fulfillment, and warehouse equipment. Experience with an ERP or MRP system and standard Microsoft Office programs. Strong communication, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Consistent attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are helpful. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises warehouse employees and is responsible for staffing, training, work assignments, performance management, and day-to-day accountability. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position works in warehouse, yard, dock, and office environments and may be exposed to moving equipment, noise, dust, and changing temperatures. The employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, climb, and work around stored materials; and safely lift and move up to 50 pounds. Required personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas. Travel and Schedule This is a full-time position. Occasional extended hours, weekends, or local travel may be required based on workload and business needs.
