Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Seafood Warehouse Manager to lead our seafood distribution operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, logistics, and team supervision, ensuring seamless distribution of seafood products. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize supply chain efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including team management, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and morale. Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels, reduce waste, and improve order fulfillment efficiency. Coordinate transportation planning and logistics management to ensure timely delivery of seafood products across distribution channels. Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and process management techniques to enhance warehouse operations. Manage procurement, shipping & receiving, and materials handling activities in compliance with safety standards and company policies. Utilize ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and supply chain analytics tools to monitor operations, analyze data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Develop budgets, monitor profit & loss statements, and perform demand planning to align inventory levels with sales forecasts. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols throughout all warehouse activities. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision within a distribution or logistics environment in seafood or related perishable goods. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Expertise in inventory control, demand planning, production planning, and distribution operations. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, procurement processes, and materials management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and analysis purposes. Experience managing budgets, profit & loss statements, and supply chain analytics is highly desirable. $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
