This isn't a mega-distribution center

• it's a small crew, real variety in the work, and you'll know everyone you work with.

Steady day shift, no nights, no Sundays.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
• you will be driving our vehicle to distributors
• 18 or older, and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read a tape measure and do basic job math
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry 75+ lbs, and to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
• carpet rolls and tile are heavy
• Reliable transportation and reliable attendance
• this is the one we care about most

NICE TO HAVE

• Forklift certification. If you're not certified, we'll certify you
• 1+ year in a warehouse, or in flooring, building materials, or construction supply
• Any experience cutting carpet or vinyl
• Bilingual English / Spanish
• Spraying base/shoe with paint

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Load our installation crews with material and get them out the door on time
• Receive incoming shipments
• check counts, inspect for damage, put away
• Keep track of inventory
• Cut carpet to size for jobs
• Prep and tag orders to ship out
• Operate the forklift safely
• Pick up orders from our distributors in the company truck
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Spray base/shoe with paint to prep for installation.
• Keep the restrooms and showroom clean and presentable for customers

WHAT WE OFFER

• $23.00 per hour to start

• 30-40 hours per week
