Reporting to the Director of Warehousing and Distribution, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, including inventory management, inbound and outbound shipping and receiving, warehouse capacity, and overall operational performance. This position will partner closely with Planning, Operations, Production, Sales, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely flow of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse leadership experience with a proven ability to manage inventory, people, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally to improve warehouse performance, productivity, and service. What You'll Do

Position Responsibilities:

Lead daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory management, and warehouse capacity. Establish and maintain operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling, inventory accuracy, and disposition of materials. Develop and manage the warehouse budget, control expenses, analyze variances, and support Finance with inventory and departmental planning. Maintain inventory accuracy through continuous audits and develop strategies to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Partner with Planning, Operations, Production, Sales, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure the timely and efficient flow of materials and products. Optimize warehouse capacity, employee workflow, and scheduled inbound and outbound shipments while considering labor, equipment, and forklift capacity. Establish, monitor, and report warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including inbound and outbound volume, warehouse occupancy, deliveries, inventory performance, and customer requirements. Identify and implement process, productivity, and technology improvements, including fleet and inventory tracking solutions. Ensure warehouse facilities and equipment are properly maintained and coordinate repairs or replacement as needed. Support warehouse security, employee safety, food safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental requirements, including compliance with applicable ISO and SQF standards. Manage and develop warehouse employees to support operational and business objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. Travel periodically between warehouse locations, including Shafter, Lemoore, and Phoenix. Experience You'll Bring

Role Requirements:

Bachelor's degree is preferred. Five (5) to seven (7) years of warehouse leadership experience is required; experience at the Supervisor level or above is preferred. Experience in the food industry is preferred. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including SAP, in supporting warehouse and logistics operations is required. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and experience managing multiple products and SKUs is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. Effective time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. Certifications such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) are preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Travel:

This role may require up to 40% travel to other worksite locations, suppliers, customers, or business events.

• $108,000 annually and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.

Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
