Job Description

About the Position We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and lead a team of approximately five employees. This is not a desk-only management position. The Warehouse Manager will be actively involved in the daily warehouse operation, working alongside the team while maintaining responsibility for productivity, inventory accuracy, shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and sterilization scheduling. The right candidate will be a strong leader who sets clear expectations, holds employees accountable, stays organized, and makes sure the warehouse gets the job done accurately, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Directly manage, train, and motivate a team of approximately five warehouse employees. Set daily priorities and ensure the team stays productive and on schedule. Coordinate inbound and outbound containers and freight. Receive and process inbound freight accurately. Coordinate shipments with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal departments. Manage inventory and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform and oversee cycle counts and inventory reconciliations. Coordinate sterilizer loads, including scheduling, staging, documentation, and movement of product. Coordinate the movement of materials between warehouse, production, sterilization, and shipping. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Maintain accurate transactions and information within the company's ERP system. Monitor employee attendance, productivity, performance, and adherence to company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Enforce safety procedures and warehouse standards. Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy. Work closely with Operations, Production, Quality, and Customer Service to resolve issues. Take immediate action when shipping, receiving, inventory, or production-support issues arise. Qualifications 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience. Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead and hold employees accountable. Strong computer skills. Experience using ERP/inventory management systems. Epicor experience preferred. Experience with inventory control, receiving, shipping, and cycle counting. Experience coordinating freight and containers. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems independently. Forklift experience/certification is preferred. Physical Requirements And Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear Must be able to work safely around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift 50 lbs. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a hands-on, working manager who takes full ownership of warehouse operations. This individual will spend significant time on the warehouse floor directing employees, monitoring inventory, receiving freight, coordinating shipments, moving materials, and assisting with daily warehouse activities as needed. Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a willingness to lead by example while working alongside the team when necessary. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for establishing high standards of accountability, productivity, safety, and operational performance. This person will ensure daily warehouse requirements are met without constant supervision, maintain an organized and efficient operation, address issues proactively, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
