Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-food, new store opening! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a focus on team leadership, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly during your shift, while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts- Be a cheerleader, hands on, and guest-friendly! Train, mentor, and develop staff to ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Utilize POS system, Toast for order processing and sales tracking Implement food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist in budgeting and financial management to optimize profitability Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures Experience with POS systems such as Toast is preferred Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering an exceptional dining experience Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations Join our team as a Shift Manager where you can make a significant impact on our restaurant's success while developing your career in the vibrant food service industry.
